Does laser hair removal really give you a month of free time?
I was in a tube station in London and read an ad for a laser hair removal clinic that claimed that you shave your legs 11,540 times in a life time. I don’t know about you but I think it takes at least 2 minutes to shave your legs. That means from the time we become aware that hairy legs may not be that attractive to the age when we’re too old to be bothered to be attractive, we spend about 384 hours shaving our legs. On a 12 hour waking day this is 32 days of shaving.
So here’s my BIG thought for the day. If you had a month to do anything you like, how would you spend it. On the beach, with your family, reading book after book, learning a language. The list is endless and I would like to read about how you would spend the perfect month away from the normal daily routines.
After 13 years of buiding the clinic I often feel like I could do with a month off. Here’s my perfect four weeks:
Week 1 – Stay home, read, sleep, eat, watch a few of my favourite programs on TV
Week 2 – Add walking to the agenda as I have more engergy
Week 3 – Add a short flight to somewhere like Portugal and do more of the same
Week 4 – Relaxed, full of energy, catch up with friends, perhaps even throw a party
Ahhh. Nice thought. Lasering legs will never be the same.
