To ensure you get the highest level of treatment, all of our medical staff are highly qualified in their specific professions and have a wealth of hands on experience.
Our Laser staff are not Beauty Therapists. They are all experienced medical practitioners with additional BTEC Awards in Laser/Light & Associated Aesthetic Therapies. This qualification is the highest 'Laser Specific' qualification available. Although very rarely required, we also have a GP, laser consultant and surgeon on hand if necessary.
Our Chiropodists and Physiotherapists are all State Registered. And our Osteopaths are members of the General Osteopathic Council.
In additional to their high levels of training and experience, our staff are also committed to continuing their professional development and regularly attend courses and seminars to further their knowledge in their specific field.

A detailed knowledge of facial anatomy and experience injecting BOTOX is essential. The Doctors that administer BOTOX at the North Wood Clinic are very experienced in their specialist medical fields which means that they have a detailed knowledge of facial anatomy to do their non BOTOX related work.
Dr W Gabriel MBBCH MRCOphth
Dr Gabriel is an incredibly experienced Opthalmic Surgeon at one of London’s biggest teaching hospitals. (In fact, it was Opthamologists who discovered Botox which can be used to treat facial lines and wrinkles.) He has been performing Botox procedures with amazing results at the clinic since 2005.

Katy Bassett-Smith
Katy obtained her Podiatric Degree in 1999. She worked for Boots Healthcare from 2000 to 2004 after which point she joined the North Wood Clinic. Katie has been using lasers since 2005 and has gained an additional BTEC Awards in Laser/Light & Associated Aesthetic Therapies. This qualification is the highest 'Laser Specific' qualification available.

Caroline Tye
Caroline is the clinics Clinical Director and the driving force behind what makes the clinic so successful. She graduated in 1984 and registered with the Health Professions Council. She has been using lasers since 1999 and has gained an additional BTEC Awards in Laser/Light & Associated Aesthetic Therapies.
