Botox Injections

Botox London

Botox helps to relax the muscles that cause the lines to reduce wrinkles and frown lines

Botox is the brand name that has come synonymous with muscle relaxing injections that help smooth facial lines. The active ingredient that makes the treatment work is called Botulinum Toxin, and is now available in a number of other non “Botox” branded treatments.

What’s loved by both our clients and A-list celebrities is that Botulinum injections are one of the most affordable, fastest working and most effective non-surgical beauty treatments available.

When injected by our medical staff (not beauty therapists), you get a temporary muscular relaxation in the areas of the face where lines are appearing, which in turn softens lines and contours. The most popular areas to treat are crow’s feet, frown lines and other facial wrinkles.

During treatment, very low doses of Botulinum Toxin are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines. A treatment is usually done in about 20 minutes, and no recovery time is needed. Within days, you may see an improvement that can last up to 4 months.

How does the treatment work?

Those moderate to severe frown lines between your brows form over time as the result of muscle activity. That’s why we inject directly into the muscles between your brows. It treatment then works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles; this reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those persistent lines to form.

When will I see results from a treatment?

Within days of receiving your injections, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate to severe frown lines between your brows. Lines continue to improve for up to a month, and results can last for up to 4 months.

Before and after muscle relaxing injections

Before and after Botox® injection of forehead

Before and after Botox® injection of crows feet

How long does the treatment last?

Results from treatment with can last for up to 4 months. If you discontinue treatment, the frown lines between your brows gradually will look like they did before treatment.

Who should not use the treatment?

The treatment should not be used in the presence of infection at the proposed injection site(s) and in individuals with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the formulation. Patients with neurological disorders such as ALS, Myasthenia Gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.

Will my facial expressions continue to look natural?

Although the results are visible, a treatment will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you “had work done.” The muscle activity that causes frown lines between the brows is simply reduced, so you can still frown or look surprised without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.

What will happen to the frown lines between my brows if I choose not to continue treatments?

If you do not continue treatments, the moderate to severe frown lines between your brows will gradually look like they did before Botox treatment.

Prices and why we’re not ever going to offer “Cheap Botox” treatments

There are 3 reasons why we consider our treatments to be good value:

  • Skill & Experience: Botulinum treatments may be common but the faces of the muscle are very complicated. Because of this our staff are highly trained. For example, our medical practitioners administer Botox injections as their detailed knowledge of the face is a requirement.
  • Post Treatment Care Is Important: Every patient we treat gets a free post treatment appointment where the results are assessed. If more Botulinum is required, we’ll do it at no additional cost. What we want to avoid is over-treating and getting the “totally frozen” look many are frightened of being left with.
  • We’re Not Going To Be Rushed: Clinics offering “Cheap Botox” are typically spending less than time with a patient and there’s no follow-up. We are always happy to discuss with our patients any queries at any time following treatements.

This is why we charge £200 for one area, £275 for 2 areas and £350 for three areas and consider it good value. You can make an appointment for a free consultation by contacting the clinic on 020 8653 5646.
